Technology & Operations COO

Primary Location: Baltimore

Experience: 3-5 Years


Position Description:

This role has responsibilities to support the Technology & Operations Communications and Engagement client leads as well as our Centers of Excellence. You will help with planning, writing, editing, measuring and coordinating a wide range of internal messages, and employee engagement initiatives to promote wellbeing, engagement and innovation. You must be a team player who is willing to pitch in and contribute new solutions to further the team's and divisions success.

The right candidate has an analytical mind, a hunger to stretch their skills, a passion for communicating and familiarity with digital channels. Project management and organizational skills will be critical at each stage of the communications and employee engagement process, from project intake to monitoring the progress of deliverables and prioritizing competing work streams, to ultimately ensuring timely delivery of first-rate work to our clients.


Primary Responsibilities


Communication, Events & Digital

-Assist with content creation and review, including sending division-wide communications across all channels including managing weekly newsletters

-Help prepare and manage the logistics for key Global events, including writing talking points, building PowerPoint presentations and preparing video scripts

-Design, build and maintain intranet sites (Jive) content-Lead projects as part of working groups as part of the broader Technology & Operations communications Centers of Excellence team structure


Governance & Reporting

-Manage incoming requests, keeping track of the team's progress and deadlines

-Relationship building and with key internal stakeholders (multimedia, corporate services and HR)

-Track, measure and analyze key metrics to present on the success of key programs / lessons learnt

-Oversee and contribute to Communications and Events calendars, create and manage mailgroups

-Review and provide comms and brand guidance to regional and divisional teams for broadcast emails and jive


Skills Required

-Flexible, agile and team-oriented; able to work calmly, quickly and error-free during stressful times

-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex, technical information into easy-to-understand language

-Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills

-Ability to build strong working relationships across the team and wider Firm

-Positive, can-do attitude


Requirements

-Bachelor's degree

-Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects

-Self-motivated, strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of deliverables

-Expert knowledge of Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat

-Experience in website content development and management or social networking platforms for business (Jive) would be a plus
