Title : Java/Python developer

Web engineering team is looking for a Java/Python developer for building web hosting platform. The candidate should have strong technical abilities and interpersonal skills to work with teams across divisions and geographies. The candidate will explore various web related technologies and implement solutions for diverse set of user requirements. The candidate will communicate and work with application owners across the firm regularly. The candidate's day-to-day responsibilities are:

1.Participate in Agile squads to design and develop firm's web platform.

2.Collaborate with squads across divisions to implement and deliver technical solutions.

3.Work with application community to adopt best practices for developing web applications.

Minimum qualifications :

1. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and shell scripting.

2.Experience troubleshooting and debugging production systems and code.

3.Experience with Apache, Tomcat and Web authentication.

4.Knowledge of networking concepts like TCP/IP, SSH, routing.

5.Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to write documents, communicate and collaborate with geographically spread teams.

Desired qualifications:

1. Knowledge of web infrastructure like load balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS.

2. Experience in Perl development
