About the Position:

Seeking an IT project manager to work on a multi-year program focused on deploying technology infrastructure that will transform our employee and client experiences. The role will support several simultaneous new office floor rebuilds which include the implementation of network, wireless, voice and multimedia solutions and the teams responsible for delivering them. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements and funding as well as organizing and coordinating the deployment plan.


 The candidate will also be responsible for reporting, maintaining project plans, supporting project planning and tracking, issue / risk management. The candidate will produce project documentation, business case and project plans to team standards, and within the current project lifecycle standards, soliciting business sign off, governance, and action where appropriate. They will provide support and oversight of implementation through project completion. Ideal candidate will have a diverse technical background within the financial services industry.

Requirements:

At least 8-10 years of technology project management experience 

Experience with network build, infrastructure build, data center builds and/or corporate real estate construction projects including floor build outs and business relocations

Experience gathering technology requirements and working with design, trading and technology teams to finalize design development and construction drawings In addition, the SDM will be responsible for managing delivery across internal teams and third-party contractors/ consultants 

Define the scope of operational work in collaboration with Enterprise Network Services and Business Unit management Develop schedule while effectively allocating resources to the activities 

Maintain project schedule and review with key stakeholders Driving process efficiency Develop, track and coordinate schedule Manage Hardware deliveries, with vendors, including staging

Create and Manage the Technology Change Management ticketsProvide weekly status reports both internally and externally, as required Lead deployment activities 

Drive process efficiency Schedule UAT testers and BAU signoffs

Manage the resolution of any issuesEnsure documentation is updatedUpdate Stakeholders, including weekly and monthly reporting status 

Complete asset decommissions and destruction Well versed in the project lifecycle and Project Management methodologies including Agile (Scrum)

Experience working with Agile teams (Kanban, Scrum, LEAN, etc) Strong Excel skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project 


Skills Desired: Bachelor's Degree + 

Experience within financial services / consulting Knowledge of Cisco, Arista, WAN, LAN, Telecommunications Dark Fiber, WAN, LAN Data Center Builds, Consolidations, Decommissions Branch Restacks and Renovations

Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail 

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written

Ability to distill and present information to business community in non-technical terminology

Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions 

Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage operational lifecycle Easily adapts to a changing environment
