This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will understand existing architecture, able to document the flows and represent in the meetings with other tech teams like security architecture, infrastructure team; able to articulate the point across and collaborate with other stakeholders on the agreed upon objectives and key results; assist in the technical design of large business systems, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The candidate should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7+ years of experience with Information Technologies.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Alpharetta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with building applications using Core Java version 8 or greater, Angular, Oracle SQL Server, and related technologies..
- Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, Performance Tuning, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing applications using modern web development tools including JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and be able to interpret business requirements and produce functional/technical specifications.
- Understanding of Asset/Wealth management domain.
- Experience developing applications in the banking domain.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
