Key Roles and Responsibilities

-Deliver technology integration and business process integration projects ranging from 6-24 months, spanning various technology groups such as development, infrastructure technology, technology security risk, and technology governance, as well as operations, legal/compliance and data governance.

-Oversee three or more Agile squads in Asia, Europe, and North America. Coordinate/manage resources across multiple teams/locations. Coordinate across legacy teams and support implementation of integrated organization structure.

-Work with the business, development, technology and technology risk managers to analyze project scope, business needs, and develop and track project estimations and integrated project plans.

-Interact with other technology silos, operations, and risk teams to coordinate dependencies, testing, and deployment.

-Establish and maintain processes to manage scope, risk and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

-Establish and maintain project communications and information systems.

-Set project quality and performance standards.

-Ensure key project-wide roles and responsibilities are defined.

-Adhere to and provide support for regional project and risk governance processes


Required Skills and Experience

-Minimum of 5 years project/program management experience, preferably at a major management consulting firm or financial institution

-Technology/technical background/understanding preferable

-Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in a buy-side asset manager with business, business technology and product knowledge

-Broad project management experience of successfully delivering information technology solutions within investment banking, asset management or trading environments

-Excellent verbal and written skill with ability to create high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audience

-Outstanding interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization with excellent influencing and negotiation skills

-Strong analytic and problem solving/process improvement skills; ability to learn quickly and solve poorly defined problems

-Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.

-Solid understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC) and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) components.

-Proficient in JIRA management, MS-Project, MS Excel, and general MS-Office skills essential.


Desirable Skills

-Good knowledge of regulated markets, including the associated regulations that govern regulatory reporting

-Understanding of Operational Risk and associated regulations (e.g., HK SFC, MAS, ASIC, EMIR, CFTC, etc.), and the associated application to internal controls

-Experience in areas of software development and Technology services
