- Role sits in the Firm Resilience Business Unit, Technology and Operations COO Division

- The role will support both Tech and Ops COO and the entire Technology Division


The mission of TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS COO is to enable the transformation of the Technology & Operations divisions by establishing multi-year strategic objectives, leading the organization with a clear and compelling strategic narrative, and achieving results by delivering day-to-day business operations. The Tech & Ops COO organization provides centralized support for Technology & Operations to ensure Quality & Control, Security, Stability, Financial Performance, etc.

This role is to be part of the centralized Business Management and Governance team within the TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS COO division. The global team is expanding and is seeking a leader to support key Governance functions across Technology and Firm Resilience. This individual will report to the Chief of Staff / CAO of Technology & Operations COO Division, and be responsible for program managing key governance deliverables on a recurring basis.

The candidate should be a self-starter who can navigate the broad organization with extreme attention to detail and diligence. This role will support the production of monthly, quarterly and annual governance documentation and meeting materials that will be used with Technology, Operations and Firm Resilience senior management, as well as auditors and regulators. Candidate should be passionate about asking and answering questions that lead to more optimized processes and project management deliverables.


Responsibilities:

- Support the recurring monthly production of Technology Governance Committee reporting, including but not limited to: performance metrics tracking, action items and minutes documentation, centralized financial reporting on key projects and programs, strategic portfolio reporting for senior stakeholders

- Centralized management and reporting of monthly Financials and Project Statuses

- Partner with stakeholders outside of Technology to ensure governance and regulatory reporting requirements are met (Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance, etc.)

- Collaborate with global / regional management, coverage team, and risk officer to respond to and process requests, inquires, or escalations by following run book and best practice

- Draft, compile and give presentations on different occasions and forums to present informational updates and summaries on a broad range of audiences including senior management, CISOs, representatives from all lines of business, and end user

- Centrally coordinate all communications, action items and monthly reporting information for the Technology Governance Committee and other key stakeholder divisions throughout the Firm

- Assist with the development/maintenance of Technology portfolio programs, which are reported to senior management

- Provide oversight of portfolio management processes, including recurring communications, compilation of metrics, and report generation

- Develop and deliver training material for current / new processes


Desired Skills / Experience:

- At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, with program/project management experience in a governance capacity at a global organization

- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work

- Technology, Operations, Finance governance program management/risk management

- Strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to act as a bridge between several business areas

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring unfocused issues to resolution

- Ability to work in a team environment, build and maintain a network of contacts and coordinate with a large number of stakeholders across Technology

- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills; proficiency working with large datasets, metrics and KRIs/KPIs? Prepare and document review findings in a concise, understandable manner

- Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines

- Excellent in both oral and written English, business writing skills preferred

- Experience with Technology projects from a governance perspective

- A proven influencer with strong interpersonal skills, able to interact at all levels to drive successful outcomes in line with business and operational management globally

- Effective organizational & prioritization skills

- a project management background and qualifications are advantageous

- Experience in process definition (e.g., RACI, process flows) and process change implementation

- Evidence of participation in change management and continuous development projects within a complex global organization, preferably Financial Services

- Demonstrates initiative, judgment and decision making

- Comfortable of working as an integral member of a global organization with team members, stakeholders, upper management and clients in different regions across Asia, EMEA and North America

- Open-minded, Independent problem-solving and highly motivated team player.
