SEC Reporting Associate
Responsibilities of the associate include assisting in:
- Compiling and analyzing detailed financial and other data for inclusion in the 10-K/Q.- Authoring various portions of the 10-K/Q including: the Institutional Securities, Wealth Management or Investment Management segment results; Liquidity and Capital Resources and Risk Management; and the Financial Statement footnotes, among others.
- Coordinating and liaising with multiple stakeholders across the Firm, including Treasury, Risk Management, Legal and other Finance functions to obtain information and draft disclosures, directly interfacing directly with senior management on their feedback and broadly ensuring the 10-K/Q accurately reflects the results of the Firm and the current environment in which it operates.
- Performing research on U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and SEC disclosure requirements, peer disclosures and the Firm's own disclosure history to enhance, streamline and improve the 10-K/Q.
- Driving various SRG priorities, including playing a vocal role in continuously improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes and interactions with our stakeholders.
Qualifications:
-Background in Accounting and/or the Financial Services industry, including knowledge of U.S. GAAP as it relates to disclosures and SEC reporting rules.
-Strong analytical, communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
-Experience in an SEC reporting role and/or a public accounting background is a plus.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of Workiva's Wdesk reporting tool and extensible business reporting language (XBRL) are a plus, but not required.*LI-
