JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

-Perform deployment and operations of network infrastructure primarily related to new connectivity turn up and site expansions.

-Turning up new routers/switches, new site to site VPN connections, help build new DMZs or integrate (various applications or services or connectivity) into the existing DMZs.

-Ability to turn up IPSEC tunnels and help troubleshoot the network issues.

-Enabling and troubleshooting issues with routing protocols and VRF.

-Point of escalation for production outages.

-An excellent knowledge of data networking principles.

-An excellent knowledge of the specific technologies to manage and support high-speed networks.

-Expert-level ability to decode packet captures and identify network and application issues using Wireshark.

-Well organized professional with excellent communication skills to be able to plan, prioritize and multi-task various workstreams as needed.

-A self-starter with extensive experience in supporting a fast paced enterprise infrastructure.

-Excited and passionate to learn new technologies and skills.

-A dedicated professional with high sense of responsibility and accountability.

-Hardware: various cutting edge technologies from both Cisco and Arista

-Ethernet technologies: spanning tree, vlans, trunking, channeling, multilayer switching

-WAN technologies: MPLS IP routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIP Multicast routing: PIM, IGMP, MSDP

-Security: VPN, IPsec, GRE, DMVPN

-Packet Capture: Wireshark

SKILLS DESIRED:

-Experience with Visio, Power Point, Unix, and scripting.

-Working experience of creating and leveraging Splunk dashboard is a huge plus.
