Title Record and Archive System Engineer

Job Description :

The position will be for engineering and support of several archive and delivery systems. These systems support the firmwide needs for broker-dealer regulated requirements with real-time business dependencies. 

The Tier 1 systems are both cloud and on-premise based in a mixed UNIX and Windows infrastructure. The team member will work in an agile based squad with mixed skill sets and be an equal contributor in this environment. 

The candidate will work with infrastructure teams, application developers, product managers, and internal customers in the firm. The supported systems are critical to the regular functioning of the firm and prior experience in a dynamic, real-time environment is desirable. While financial services transaction experience is ideal, support of systems used for business-critical functions in similar demands such as reservation systems, manufacturing, communications systems, or comparable is appropriate. 

The ideal candidate will have UNIX experience with scripting and programming expertise with 1-3 years of experience. Expertise with using relational databases, queue management systems, and data management systems are also an advantage. Experience with report delivery systems, archive systems, or document management systems is a plus.A combination of third-party software and cloud services are managed by this team. 

Experience with the Content Manager systems is a plus. Experience with Azure cloud-based services would be a plus as well. These are high profile services within the firm with modern cloud delivery and data management and the right candidate would have an opportunity for working with the most modern delivery tools in this area of technology.
