POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Executive Officer is the top senior executive leader responsible for oversight of all Careteam Plus Inc. operations including but not limited to strategic, operational, financial, and quality performance. The leader will execute on strategic planning and ensure the organization operates efficiently while providing high quality, equitable safe patient/client care in accordance with all required State and Federal compliance criteria. The CEO ensures systems, processes and procedures are in place and utilized to continuously improve the services, efficiency and outcomes of all areas of the organization while maintaining a strong positive and professional relationship with all team members and the public. Serves as the solid leader of the senior administrative team and the organization.
The CEO leads towards the Careteam Plus mission in everything that is completed including continuous development of plans to further reach and serve those in the communities. This includes program design and implementation, staff supervision, financial oversight and development, and communication of Careteam’s role and needs to the community. The CEO excels with interpersonal relationships and leadership skills demonstrated by an ability to interact positively and productively with all community members, the Board of Directors, all Careteam staff, as well as community leaders and regional and state representatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s preferred.
*May substitute 10 years Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Look-a-Like (LAL) leadership experience for the Bachelor’s degree.
Experience
• A minimum of 5 years executive level healthcare organizational leadership experience required.
• A minimum of 3 years non-profit management in medical, social service, HIV service delivery and policy or, or other closely related field required.
• Prior leadership experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Look-a-like (LAL) strongly preferred.
License/Certification
• Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) preferred

• Highly proficient PC skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office software required.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy 340B, National Institute of Health (NIH) and Ryan White HIV/AIDS Bureau clinical management standards of care for HIV preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to meet FQHC requirements and standards of care strongly preferred.
Other
• Valid and in good standing SC driver’s license.
• Personal transportation to travel to multiple organizational facilities in the region required.
• Meets Careteam Plus Employee Health Tuberculosis screening program requirements.

• The pinnacle steward of financial health, budgeting, forecasting, and diversified revenue strategies, including Federal and State grants, Medicaid/Medicare reimbursements, and other payer contracts.
• Contributes practical and creative solutions to increase revenue and reduce/minimize expenses.
• Demonstrates effective fund-raising, working effectively with staff, donors and trustees.
• Provides top level oversight of quality and provision of all agency programs and services.
• Overall champion of continuous quality improvement, positive patient experience, and data-driven outcomes.
• Represents organization as it relates to regulatory policy, law changes with government and other entities to advocate for patient care service delivery.
• Shows a high level of adaptability to changes and conditions as situations warrant.
• Represents organization in media, written communication and personal interaction with community partners, donors and clients/patients.
• All Careteam staff work together as a team and help each other and patients/clients by performing other duties as assigned.
