Position Overview

UHC Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-funded, multi-site Community Care Center. The organization is seeking a Pediatrician to provide high-quality, comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients in both outpatient and limited inpatient settings (as applicable to individual employment agreements). The role works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver accessible, patient-centered care. This position reports to the Director of Pediatrics and plays a key role in supporting clinical excellence across multiple clinic locations.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients in outpatient and inpatient settings as applicable
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and medical standards
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records, ensuring all patient encounters are documented and closed within 24 hours
  • Ensure continuity of care by delivering services in alignment with clinic schedules and scope of practice
  • Coordinate and refer patients for specialty care, diagnostic testing, and ancillary services as appropriate
  • Review and interpret lab and imaging results promptly, making appropriate clinical decisions
  • Meet productivity standards while maintaining efficient patient flow and minimizing disruptions to schedules
  • Deliver excellent patient-centered service through in-person, phone, and electronic communication
  • Train, mentor, and supervise students and clinical support staff as appropriate
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekend coverage, and respond in a timely manner
  • Adhere to organizational policies, safety standards, infection control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in community health promotion, education, and prevention programs, as well as staff meetings and organizational activities
  • Monitor patient satisfaction trends and implement improvements to maintain high-quality care standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Current DEA registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
  • Continuing medical education as required by board specialty
  • Hospital privileges at designated facilities if required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Flexibility with work hours and clinic locations
