YVFWC is seeking a Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations to shape the future of our integrated behavioral health across a mission-driven, community-based system. This executive leader will advance innovative care models and expand access to whole-person mental health and substance use disorder services across the communities we serve.

The Opportunity
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations provides enterprise leadership for Behavioral Health programs across YVFWC. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this leader collaborates with an experienced and dynamic leadership team, including the Chief Health Officer, Vice Presidents of Clinical Operations, the Vice President of Health and Wellness advance YVFWC’s mission, vision and strategic plan.
The role guides the clinical, operational, financial, and strategic direction of Behavioral Health offerings, with responsibility for program growth, quality outcomes, access, workforce development, compliance, and sustainable performance across multiple modalities.
Position Highlights
· 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week
· $169,000 to $242,000 annual compensation, depending on experience, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates
· Relocation allowance available for candidates relocating more than 60 miles

Qualifications
· Master’s level or professional degree in a mental health discipline, such as psychology, medicine, nursing, behavioral health advanced
practice, social work, behavioral health therapy, or equivalent.
· 10 years of progressive leadership in healthcare business operations, including director-level or higher management experience supervising staff, providers, and leaders in behavioral health within a direct service provider organization.
· 7 years of experience in behavioral health administration, managed care, program development, service integration, and quality improvement.
· Professional licensure such as LMSW, LADAC, LPCC, LCSW, LPAT, LMHC, RN BH, PMHNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, LSAA, LMFT, LMAFT, CNP, PsyD, PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent.
· Knowledge of HRSA, Joint Commission, regulatory compliance, quality metrics, EMR systems, and provider payment models.
· Current understanding of behavioral health research, trends, best practices, and delivery models, including Primary Care Behavioral Health Managed Care, and Integrated Care Services.
· Experience leading complex behavioral health operations across integrated care models, multiple sites, and diverse service lines.
· Proven success using data to improve strategic growth, operational performance, financial results, and quality outcomes.
· Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
· Exceptional communication, relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and influence skills across all levels of an organization.
· Proven experience in structured continuous improvement models such as Lean, BPM, TQM or similar
