JOB SUMMARY
The Texas Association of Community Health Centers (TACHC) is a private, not-for-profit membership association committed to advancing access to quality health care in Texas by supporting and advocating for community health centers. The COO will execute all internal operations and oversee internal facing teams to drive results towards TACHC’s mission and strategic objectives. This position will report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and process optimization in a membership-based organization. Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Decision-making in this position is focused on implementing practical, timely solutions and a leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way. The scope of the job will require effective delegation to direct reports, ability to act independently, drive results, and handle a variety of challenges.
