Area Sales Manager – Homebuilding

Our client is a Top 5 ranked Fortune 500 national home builder in South Carolina and is seeking a high-energy Sales Manager to join one of its most well-positioned and fast-growing divisions in the Southeast.

What you’ll do as a Sales Manager:
- Responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team in the Summerville/Charleston area.
- Your focus will be on driving sales performance, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, executing strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring an exceptional homebuying experience for our customers.
- You will serve as the direct point of leadership for all sales operations in your area, ensuring adherence to company standards and the achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities as a Sales Manager:
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train Sales Representatives in your area.
- Supervise and mentor sales staff, ensuring productivity and professionalism.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback.
- Enforce company policies and manage employee relations in alignment with organizational standards.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis on product offerings, pricing, and amenities.
- Drive traffic and engagement through events like grand openings, new phase launches, and incentive programs.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop and execute promotional strategies.
- Support Sales Representatives in implementing marketing campaigns and community incentives.
- Build and maintain relationships with local real estate professionals through events such as realtor breakfasts, office presentations, and networking opportunities.
- Handle escalated buyer calls, resolve customer issues, and ensure documentation is complete for home purchases and closings.
- Promote and maintain a professional, ethical, and customer-focused work environment.
- Directly manage a team of 8-12.
- Perform full-spectrum managerial duties including hiring, performance management, coaching, and issue resolution in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
What you’ll need as a Sales Manager:
- 5+ years’ of experience in New Home Sales
- South Carolina Real Estate license is required
- Experience recruiting, training, coaching and/or leading successful team meetings are all a plus!
- Familiarity with marketing tactics, customer engagement strategies, and sales incentive design
