Responsibilities:

  • The Regional Vice President is a critical strategic leadership position.
  • Supporting the core business of manufactured housing, the Regional Vice President (“RVP”) oversees total operations of multiple manufacturing facilities within a designated region.
  • Key focuses include driving sales strategies, operational excellence, team development, and ensuring facility direction aligns with executive leadership and Board of Directors company objectives.
  • Through a wide range of cross functional partnering, including leaders within the corporate, manufacturing and business units, the RVP will build effective, profitable operations.
  • This role will require a customer first mindset and an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing, specifically manufactured homes industry. 
  • They will be able to motivate their teams to support key company objectives and develop strategic relationships within the region/new markets.

 

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute the division's strategic plan, in line with the company's overall vision and objectives, to drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the division's progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Take proactive measures to address any challenges or obstacles that may arise:

o  Plant Capacity Utilization

o  Culture (Employee, Safety and Service)

o  Product Strategy

o  Customer Engagement

o  Operational Execution

o  Growth (Industry, Market Share, People and Customer)

  • Oversee the division's budget and financial performance, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to establish strategic alliances and enhance the division's reputation and market presence.
  • Develops, in coordination with local leadership teams, sales and marketing strategies suitable for specific region to maximize customer demand and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ability to lead 5 – 10 employees within an organization.
  • Coordinates the implementation of new financial programs to increase or develop additional avenues for growth.
  • Oversee the performance of current programs, policies, and processes to improve Champion Homes brand and relations with customers, employees, stockholders, and the community.
  • Understands and stays up to date on federal, state, and local legislation that impacts the manufactured housing, federal contracting, or other applicable industries.
  • Provides direction on employee matters, partnering with local and corporate human resources, legal, and safety teams.
  • Acts as a steward of the company, representing Champion Homes within the industry, at shows, or other public arenas as necessary.

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university; master’s degree (M. A.) preferred, and/or 10 to 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.           
  • Experience as a successful General Manager within the industry.
  • Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time annually.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop people and embrace change management
  • Ability to think strategically and drive operational excellence.
  • Strategic vision and ability to enforce accountability.
  • Sales and product leadership experience.
  • Financial acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving/decision-making abilities
