Medical Optometrist with 15% Vision Therapy – $190,000 Potential + No Weekends - Brooklyn, NY (10 mins from Bay Ridge)

An established practice in Brooklyn, New York is looking for a full-time Medical Optometrist with some interest in Vision Therapy to join a great team and deliver excellent patient care! 

Candidates must have experience in Vision Therapy or be willing to learn Vision Therapy through mentorship to do treatments for evaluations.

PRACTICE DETAILS

• See 12–16 patients per day on average (about 2 per hour)
• Excellent support: techs, Optician, Vision Therapist, and manager
• Updated technology: OCT, Visual Field, Optos, EMR
• Scope of Practice: Heavy medical with Myopia control AND 15% Vision Therapy

SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday
• Monday: 10:00am–6:00pm 
• Tuesday: 9:00am–5:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am–6:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am–2:30pm
• Last patient scheduled 1 hour before close
• No weekends
• No on-call

COMPENSATION

• Greater of: $70–$75/hour (based on experience) or 15% of production 
• Potential to make up to $190,000 annually with the production model
