My client is expanding their sales team, and they’re on the hunt for a dynamic Business Development professional to drive their growth to new heights.  

 

This is a net new business role so you will be comfortable with doing this until you build your book of accounts. This is a 8-14 month sales cycle rather than the "run rate" monthly deals. And you can sell into Corporate or public sector. Central Gov, NHS, Police are the main verticals. 

 

You will have sold connectivity so either WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, or Security solutions is just the starting point 

 

Managed services sales could also add some weight to your application. 

 

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be on the frontline, finding the next big customer and guiding them every step of the way. From the first conversation to a long-term partnership, you’ll forge the relationships that drive success. 

 

 

Your Impact – Skills & Knowledge 

  • Tech Savvy: Quickly master LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security products with expertise in top brands like Cisco, Fortinet, and Extreme. 
  • Lead Hunter: Uncover and qualify golden opportunities with precision. 
  •  Proactively grow pipelines, speed up sales cycles, and close deals to smash your goals. 
  • Market Detective: Dive into market research and emerge with insights for a competitive edge. 
  • Relationship Builder: Foster trust and long-term success with your customers. 

 

What You Bring 

  • Proven New Business Hunter: 2+ years of experience finding new business opportunities, ideally in the connectivity or telecoms industry
  • Solution Selling Expert: Skilled at selling tailored solutions, not just products. 
  • Corporate or Public Sector Experience  
  • Customer-Centric Pro: Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Details 

  • Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday).
