Weekend rota is required for this role - unsociable hours at times

Our client are a Data Centre and IT Infrastructure partner. They are currently seeking a Field Data Centre / Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

This is a field based role which will require you to travel to client sites on a daily basis. They are based in Chelmsford, Essex and you would also be required, from time to time, to attend HQ to load/unload materials, for job preparation works and training days.

The role:

• To carry out Lifecycle support
• Managed Data Centre services
• IT Infrastructure
• All technical work information is electronic so intermediate understanding of MS Excel would be required
• Experience of Hardware, Cable and Connection Auditing
• Exp in IT support / breakfix, hardware / cabling / cable troubleshooting
• It’s a Practical Hands-on role
• Electrical and or commercial data cabling background
• Copper and fibre installations
