Job title: Business Development Executive / Manager

Division: Network Services

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the London office

Salary of £50k - £70k DOE + Comms

Our client would like to recruit a Business Development Executive/Manager within their Network Services Team who is hungry to support the growth of the business through a focus on new business and a drive to double the division in 3 years.

What Actions and Challenges Await

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Network Services team. The Network & Infrastructure Consulting Services team provides a wide range of well-known brands with high-value consulting and engineering across all aspects of IT and networking, including Network Engineering, Network Automation (including NetDevOps), Infrastructure Virtualisation, Delivery Assurance, Business Process, Enterprise Data, and Managed Networks. Clients span major consumer-facing and enterprise brands across several industries.

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of, and/or interest in, IT & Network Services
  • Coachable: open to feedback, eager to learn, and willing to continuously improve

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate relationships at a senior level (CMO, CIO, CTO)
  • Accurately forecast sales and revenue
  • Strong research skills and understanding of business issues
  • Stakeholder triangulation to understand what is happening within a brand
  • Pitch key services effectively
  • Objection handling and negotiation (commercial/legal)
  • Engage with marketing on upcoming activities and lead generation
  • Engage internal stakeholders including pre-sales and delivery teams for meetings, pitches and QBRs
  • Build clear plans to achieve goals and targets
