What They Need

Our client is expanding their field team and is looking for a Project Manager to supervise and direct all aspects of single-family custom home construction.  The Custom Homes Project Manager will take the reins in overseeing the entire lifecycle of custom home projects, from the initial planning stages to final delivery.  This role demands a hands-on leader who can navigate high-end residential construction, manage various stakeholders, and deliver exceptional results.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all aspects of custom home construction, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and contractors, ensuring a seamless construction experience.
• Conduct regular inspections and enforce stringent quality control procedures to meet the highest standards.
• Monitor job costs, approve purchase orders, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for each phase of the project, ensuring smooth transitions and timely completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Proactively address construction challenges to keep the project moving forward efficiently.
• Leverage Builder Trend software for tracking project progress, communication, and documentation.
• Ensure that all projects meet local building codes, permitting requirements, and safety regulations.
• Ensure clients are kept informed throughout the process, addressing concerns promptly and delivering a superior final product.

What You’ll Need



• Minimum of 5 years of experience in custom home construction.
• Expertise in high-end materials, finishes, and luxury homebuilding techniques.
• Proven ability to manage complex site conditions and construct basement foundations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing custom home projects from start to finish.
• Experience with building on in-fill lots is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in BuilderTrend or similar construction management software.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Proven experience in budget management, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ability to solve problems proactively and maintain attention to detail.
• Possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and be willing to commute to job sites as required.
