Principal – Business Valuation & Litigation

Hybrid | New Jersey, New York, or Eastern Pennsylvania

A growing professional services firm is seeking someone to lead and expand valuation and litigation support services across the Mid-Atlantic region.

This leadership role focuses on business development, client advisory, and oversight of complex valuation engagements while mentoring team members and collaborating across offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development and manage valuation and litigation support engagements across the region
• Oversee and mentor analysts and managers to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and internal stakeholders
• Serve as a valuation subject matter expert for cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support practice growth and strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of business valuation experience
• One or more valuation credentials required (CFA, CVA, ASA, or ABV)
• Experience with financial reporting, ESOPs, or litigation support preferred
• Proven ability to grow a practice through relationship-building and market-facing activities
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
