Tax Supervisor- Architecture, Engineering & Construction

As this New York area firm grows, it's looking to add a Tax Supervisor to their AEC team. They're eager to train and teach a hungry supervisor looking to pave their way in the AEC niche.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and propose solutions to problems on technical issues that arise.
• Think logically and critically to identify unusual or inconsistent fluctuations.
• Develop and understand clients’ business by using effective communication skills.
• Work in accordance with professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the technology and professional services group.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.

The Tax Supervisor specializing in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) group is responsible for managing the tax compliance and reporting functions specific to the AEC industry. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely tax filings, developing tax strategies, and providing guidance on tax-related matters. The Tax Supervisor will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize AEC clients’ tax position and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
