HNW Tax Manager

New York, NY (flexible work options available)

Overview:

This role focuses on working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and related entities, providing both tax compliance and advisory support. You’ll have the opportunity to lead engagements, mentor staff, and play a key role in client relationships and planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex tax engagements for individuals, trusts, estates, and partnerships
• Oversee tax planning and advisory work for high-net-worth clients
• Review tax returns, projections, and related deliverables across multiple entity types
• Ensure deadlines are met and maintain strong client communication
• Conduct tax research and provide clear recommendations
• Respond to tax notices and support clients through audits or inquiries
• Delegate work to staff and provide mentorship and guidance
• Support business development efforts and client growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients
