Senior Tax Associate
In this role, you will:
- Prepare more complex tax returns, organizes work papers, maintains open items list and conducts self-review of work before submission to reviewer
- Take responsibility for service quality, thoroughness, and accuracy; proactively works with client and in-charge to gather data and follow-up on open items
- Assess problem/issue materiality and interprets the implications for the clients
- Prepare more complex projections, provisions and returns with accuracy and according to firm policies and procedures
- Begin to review returns
- Document research and planning to share with team, colleagues, and clients
Training & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting (or related degree that provides eligibility to sit for the NYS CPA examination).
- Three to five years of experience with preparing tax returns
- CPA licensure or process in place.
