Tax Director- Financial Services

A well established and growing firm is adding a Director to their Financial Services group- not due to people leaving but from promotions from within the firm. This firm is excited to bring in new talent to add to their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build strong relationships with clients
• Provide high-level tax planning, structuring, and compliance
• Identify and provide solutions for tax risks
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate as needed with clients
• Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns.
• Foster a culture of growth mindset and excellent client service
• Provide leadership and training to staff on technical tax issues and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of experience in tax
• Proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
• A focus in the Financial Services niche
• Solid experience working with Private Equity and Hedge Funds.
