Assistant Estate Manager – High Net Worth Family Office


Our client, a prestigious High Net Worth Family Office, is seeking an Assistant Estate Manager to support the Head of Real Estate in managing the operations and upkeep of multiple luxury residences in the Los Angeles area. This individual will ensure that properties are maintained at the highest standards, guest experiences are seamless, and projects are completed with discretion and precision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Real Estate in overseeing all aspects of luxury residential property management.
  • Ensure residences are guest-ready at all times, including managing detailed preference sheets and personalized hospitality touches.
  • Help oversee household operations and staff
  • Coordinate with facilities to manage and complete small projects and property upgrades during vacant periods.
  • Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring top-tier quality, accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Act as a problem solver and key point of coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across residences.
  • Maintain the highest level of service standards, comparable to the care and precision of a head steward on a private yacht.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, schedules, and household inventories as needed.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale luxury residences, private estates, or similar high-touch environments.
  • Strong background in staff oversight and vendor management.
  • Exceptional hospitality mindset, with an ability to anticipate guest and principal needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple properties and shifting priorities with discretion and grace.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Tech-savvy, with comfort using property management and communication tools.
  • Solid career tenure, reflecting professionalism, stability, and discretion in past roles.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trust with principals, guests, and staff.
