This position offers meaningful ownership and direct exposure to senior leadership. You'll have the opportunity to improve how critical obligations are managed, establish systems that support continued growth, and play an important role in protecting the organization's assets.
While tax is part of the title, this is not a traditional corporate tax position. Success requires sound judgment, strong execution, and the ability to keep complex initiatives moving forward.
What You'll Be Responsible For

- Partner with lenders and internal finance teams to coordinate reporting requirements, loan compliance, and financing-related deliverables.
- Direct insurance administration, including policy renewals, coverage requirements, claims, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with external specialists on property-related taxes, sales and use tax, regulatory filings, and other compliance matters.
- Evaluate obligations associated with acquisitions, property sales, and financing transactions to ensure appropriate follow-through.
- Maintain oversight of legal entity requirements, registrations, and other recurring corporate obligations.
- Identify potential exposures, address compliance gaps, and introduce safeguards that minimize financial and operational risk.
- Serve as a key point of contact for outside advisors while partnering with Accounting, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of progressive experience in real estate finance, compliance, tax administration, asset management, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing complex workflows with multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated success developing procedures, improving accountability, and implementing practical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate financial agreements, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to make decisions and drive matters to resolution.
- Experience within real estate investment, development, or property operations preferred.
- Familiarity with property-level taxes, insurance administration, or financing compliance is advantageous.
- CPA designation or relevant professional certification is a plus, but not required.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a function with a direct impact on the business. You'll join an organization experiencing continued portfolio growth, work closely with its leadership team, and have the latitude to establish processes that make a lasting difference.
We're interested in professionals who enjoy solving problems, creating order, and taking responsibility for outcomes. Candidates bringing relevant experience from real estate finance, asset management, or compliance are encouraged to apply.
