A well-established and growing hospitality ownership and management group is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its corporate finance team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role reports directly to senior finance leadership and plays a key role in overseeing the financial operations of multiple hotel properties and related entities.

Key Responsibilities
• Support senior finance leadership in overseeing financial operations across multiple hotel properties and related entities
• Ensure accurate accounting of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with the development and monitoring of internal control procedures to safeguard company assets including inventory, cash controls, and operational transactions
• Oversee the preparation and submission of weekly and monthly financial reports, including operational performance reports
• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable processes including vendor reconciliations and system utilization
• Supervise and support accounting staff including hiring, training, and performance management in partnership with senior finance leadership
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes
• Ensure timely filing of government reports, tax documentation, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with hotel operational departments to provide guidance on financial procedures and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and cost controls
Qualifications
• 3+ years of hotel or hospitality accounting experience
• Experience in roles such as Assistant Controller, Assistant Director of Finance, or Accounting Manager within hospitality
• Strong understanding of hotel financial reporting and accounting operations
• Experience supporting or supervising accounting staff
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment while managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
