Job Description: Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Location: Plano, Texas (Onsite)

Are you an experienced payroll and benefits professional with a passion for precision and compliance? The Hire Solution has partnered with a global travel services organization seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to manage the full cycle payroll and benefits processing for approximately 200 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Payroll Administration:
  • Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 200 employees using Paychex, ADP, or a similar HRIS system.
  • Perform manual payroll calculations, including FICA, FUTA, and other deductions as required.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle payroll adjustments, corrections, and retroactive pay changes.


  • Benefits Administration:
  • Manage employee benefits enrollment, updates, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with benefit providers to ensure accurate and timely administration of plans.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and resolve issues.

  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations, including FMLA, FICA, FUTA, and other labor laws.
  • Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.


  • Employee Support:
  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll and benefits-related questions and concerns.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding leave policies, FMLA, and other related topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a mid-sized organization.
  • Proficiency in Paychex, ADP, or similar HRIS systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of FMLA, payroll tax laws, and manual payroll calculations (e.g., FICA, FUTA).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist employees and collaborate with teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in Plano, Texas.
