The Hire Solution has partnered with an Austin, Texas based consumer product goods (CPG) company for the position of Accounts Receivable Accountant. In this role, you will own all aspects of accounts receivable, revenue reporting including billing, invoicing and customer maintenance, as well as rebate accounting, deductions and application of payments.

Other duties to include:

• Ensure prompt and accurate invoicing and billing of all customer accounts, many of which have different contractual terms from one another
• Managing customer billing issues and questions, especially about rebates, volume discounts, etc,
• Maintaining and updating customer master data
• Supporting audit related requests 
• Calculation and filing of ongoing bill requirements for applicable jurisdictions
• Assisting with general accounting and finance related projects as needed
• Seek out and communicate opportunities to continuously improve, standardize and streamline the company’s invoicing and billing process
• Work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization

Requirements:

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Accounting or Finance bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience in an accounting role with A/R responsibilities
• Consumer Product Goods (CPG) experience in accounts receivable or similar capacity
• Proficient Excel skills including Vlookup, Pivot Table, Conditional formatting
• NetSuite or similar ERP system experience highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail
