The Hire Solution has partnered with a family owned construction an architecture company located in Round Rock, TX, seeking an Accounting Assistant for a 2 month temporary contract to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate should have one plus years in a clerical accounting capacity, with willingness to learn new skills as needed for the position.
Required Skills:
1) Accounts Payable
a) Any scanning required (mail, drawings, receipts, etc.)
b) Purchase Order entries for Job invoices
c) Invoice/Receipt entry
2) Payroll
a) Daily Employee and Subcontractor time/hours tracking w/Field Supervisor and/or Project Manager
b) Time entry into appropriate Excel spreadsheet templates
c) Weekly entry into Computer Ease software (by Wednesday @ Noon) after Management approval
3) Accounts Receivable
a) Free form invoicing and/or Service Management module Work Order invoicing
b) Statement generation for review by Management
c) Send statements and/or Lien Notices as instructed
4) Document Control
a) Job-specific communications (emails, MS Teams postings, etc.) as needed
b) Scanning existing historical files to fill time when not busy with other tasks
c) Creation of Service Management Work Orders for leaks and other service work reported/required from Customers.
d) Saving all important information to SharePoint and or ComputerEase ERP system
e) Verify entry of jobs in accounting system and into the CRM system
5) Internet Research
a) Search for suppliers and other information for Management as needed
b) Create Opportunities in CRM module for all project bids sent out by SMI/Estimators
6) General Office
a) Answer all incoming telephone calls
