Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite Only)

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (Permanent Role)

Our client is a dynamic international travel company headquartered in Plano, Texas. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their onsite team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s ongoing growth.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a stable and growing organization. While the company operates globally, this role does not require travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects and reporting needs
• Assist with job cost accounting and project reconciliations (construction accounting experience a plus)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track preferred)
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with construction accounting and job costing highly beneficial
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

• Salary range: $75,000 – $95,000, commensurate with experience

• 100% onsite at client location in Plano, TX
• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
• No travel required
