Registered Nurse – Med-Tele / Neuro Unit

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical-Telemetry Neuro RN to join our team. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You’ll provide treatment and support to ill, injured, and recovering adults using a patient-centered care model, exercising strong clinical judgment and autonomy in your practice.

Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive patient health data and perform detailed assessments
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to advocate for patients and ensure optimal outcomes
• Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses and determine appropriate care plans
• Develop individualized plans of care and identify expected outcomes for each patient
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments, providing guidance throughout their stay
• Promote patient safety and ensure efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment
• Support a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted; must apply for FL license before start)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• BSN preferred

Licensing Note:

• RNs with 3+ years of experience and a Compact License may move forward immediately (must still apply for FL license).
• RNs with less than 3 years of experience must take and pass the NCLEX in Florida before consideration if not already licensed in the state.

• Shift Options:
• Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Unit: Med-Tele / Neuro
• Work Environment: Supportive, team-driven unit with a strong focus on collaboration and patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range:
• $27.72 – $33.00/hr (5 years’ experience)
• $36.30/hr (10 years’ experience)
• $39.60/hr (15+ years’ experience)
• Shift Differentials:
• Nights: +$3.00/hr
• Weekends: +$2.00/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
