Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Sanford, FL. As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assist with various diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Assessment: Assess patients' conditions, document patient data, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications to promote cardiovascular health.
• Safety: Maintain a safe and sterile working environment, adhering to all relevant protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• License/Certifications:
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license (required).
• BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider card (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider card (required within 6 months of hire).
• Experience:
• At least 1 year of acute care experience (required).
• Previous experience in the Interventional Cath Lab or critical care (highly preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and previous ICU experience (highly desired).
• Availability: On-call duty is required, and candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility. Some weekend rotations may be necessary.
