Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care environment. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity settings and are confident managing a diverse patient population using team-based nursing models.

Position Offerings

• Competitive salary range: $29.05 – $46.48 per hour based on years of experience

Sign-on bonus

• $10,000 for candidates with less than 2 years of experience
• $25,000 for candidates with 2 or more years of experience

• Two-year commitment required for full bonus payout
• Relocation assistance available based on relocation area

• One-year minimum commitment required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty being applied for
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• Education: RN ADN required

Licensure

• Open to candidates without state or compact licensure
• Licensure must be obtained prior to start date
• 
  

Certifications

• BLS required upon submission
• Additional required life support certifications may be obtained after hire

Unit Overview

• Emergency Department with 48 beds plus flex space
• Patient ratios
• 4:1 in the main Emergency Department
• 6:1 in Fast Track
• Team nursing and pod-based care model
• Dedicated social worker and unit educator assigned to the department

Technology and Equipment

• Zoll Defibrillator
• Level One Blood Transfuser
• QinFlow Blood Warmer
• Hospira Plum 360 infusion pumps
• Freestyle and iSTAT point-of-care testing
• Ultrasound-guided IV access
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner

Patient Population

• Adult, geriatric, and psychiatric patients
• Common conditions include ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain

Required Skills and Experience

• Trauma care
• Stroke management
• STEMI
• Sepsis
• Moderate sedation

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of Emergency Department nursing experience
