Scope of Position


The Operations Analyst serves as a key resource in driving operational excellence by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production data to support decision-making and process improvements. This role is responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing actionable reports for leadership, and collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve production outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a proactive mindset to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data collection systems to track critical operational metrics.
  • Monitor and evaluate factory KPIs such as production output, waste, labor utilization, and efficiency.
  • Analyze production data to identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and present detailed operational reports to management for informed decision-making.
  • Partner with operations managers and production teams to support productivity and cost-effectiveness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reporting processes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Recommend and support implementation of process improvements using statistical and analytical methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company regulations.
  • Provide support to the accounting team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience as an analyst in a manufacturing environment (food processing preferred).
  • Proficiency with ERP/business systems (e.g., SAP, D365, Ross).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex production processes and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Adaptable to changing production priorities and environments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Experience working with high-volume SKUs in a fast-paced setting.
