Distribution Center (DC) Area Manager – Weekend Shift

Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:00am - 7:30pm

Scope of Position

Our client is looking for a results-driven Distribution Center Area Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and oversee a team of associates. In this role, you’ll ensure that merchandise is received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped with accuracy, efficiency, and safety in mind. As a key leader in our supply chain, you’ll drive performance, foster a positive team culture, and help us deliver the right products to the right stores at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of associates to achieve operational goals and maximize performance.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and efficiency metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Champion the company's Core Values and create an engaging, inclusive, and professional team environment.
• Drive cross-functional projects and support process improvements that enhance DC performance.
• Provide ongoing training and ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Leverage warehouse management systems, reporting tools, and technology to optimize operations.
• Actively mentor team members through feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume distribution or supply chain environment.
• Proven ability to manage, engage, and develop teams in fast-paced settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience driving operational improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); WMS experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed and navigate all areas of the DC, including mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to lift and move boxes 40+ lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
