Scope of Position
We seek a seasoned, strategic marketing executive to lead a dynamic, multi-brand, multi-channel marketing function. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in developing and executing a unified marketing strategy across a diverse product portfolio and customer base. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in B2B marketing, product commercialization, and driving growth through direct and indirect sales channels.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports revenue growth and brand development across multiple business units.
- Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Development, Sales, and Operations to align on go-to-market plans and commercialization efforts.
- Build and lead a high-performance marketing organization capable of supporting complex push and pull sales dynamics.
Brand & Channel Marketing
- Lead brand strategy for over a dozen unique brands, ensuring alignment with company goals while differentiating across markets and customer segments.
- Direct channel marketing initiatives supporting a vast dealer/distributor network and diverse direct-buying customer base.
- Partner with internal and external sales teams to drive market adoption and support product sell-through strategies.
- Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across a wide range of product categories and pricing tiers.
Product Launch & Commercialization
- Collaborate with product teams to execute launch strategies for a high volume of new product introductions annually.
- Drive promotional planning, sales enablement tools, and lifecycle marketing initiatives that support sustained product success.
- Support segment-specific offerings and content in partnership with the sales organization.
Marketing Operations & Departmental Oversight
Lead and integrate core marketing functions, including:
- Trade shows and event strategy (50+ annually)
- Social media and digital marketing
- Brand and merchandising management
- Channel marketing programs
- Graphic design and video content
- E-commerce and product content
- Print and digital asset development
- Leverage data and analytics to measure effectiveness, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Support post-acquisition integration of marketing teams, systems, and processes.
Sales & Customer Enablement
- Provide tools and content to enable sales teams and customer success initiatives, including product education, training materials, and solution-selling content.
- Create campaigns and assets that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue across multiple buyer groups.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of marketing leadership experience in complex B2B environments.
- Proven track record managing SKU-intensive product portfolios and multi-brand ecosystems.
- Strong background in both channel-led and direct sales support.
- Experience in successful product launches across multiple markets and channels.
- Expertise in product commercialization and sales alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary marketing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and executive leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
- Experience in industries with a range of value and innovation-driven products.
- Knowledge of distributor-dealer networks and direct-to-customer marketing approaches.
