Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

Our client is seeking a dedicated, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead night-shift operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing hourly production team members and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities


  • Leading and enforcing all safety, health, environmental, quality, and GMP standards
  • Supervising and developing hourly production employees
  • Managing shift operations including staffing, labor utilization, and machine efficiency
  • Resolving production and quality issues in real time
  • Monitoring product quality through frequent checks and ensuring compliance
  • Documenting shift activities, decisions, and performance metrics to support compliance and continuous quality improvement (CQI)
  • Conducting shift meetings and participating in production and safety meetings
  • Reviewing and approving employee time records
  • Managing temporary staffing to meet production goals
  • Driving plant productivity by optimizing machine utilization and recommending operational improvements
  • Supporting inventory control and physical inventory processes
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Promoting a positive, professional workplace culture through strong communication and leadership
  • You will exercise independent judgment and leadership authority in areas such as employee performance management, training, discipline, and staffing decisions in accordance with company policies.
  • Travel may be required up to 25%.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant operations experience, or an equivalent combination
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
