About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing North American company in the renewable energy space is seeking a Director of Sales to support continued expansion across the U.S. market. The organization specializes in engineered solutions supporting large-scale and commercial energy projects, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and cost reduction.
The company is in a high-growth phase and looking for someone who wants to actively build market presence, not just maintain existing accounts.
The Role
This is a true business development role focused on driving new revenue and expanding into key markets. You will not inherit a fully developed territory. You will build it from the ground up.
If you enjoy creating opportunities, closing deals, and being rewarded for performance, this role offers significant upside.

- Provide market feedback to influence product direction
- Work cross-functionally to support successful execution

- Self-starter who operates with autonomy and ownership
- Quick learner who can ramp without heavy structure
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in solar or adjacent industries (EPC, development, inverters, modules, racking)
- Background in technical industries such as semiconductors or electrical infrastructure
- Experience selling into technical buyers with longer sales cycles

Travel and Location
- Remote role based in the U.S. or Canada
- Preference for candidates near the Northeast U.S. or California
- Approximately 50% travel, potentially higher during ramp-up
