Position: Senior Software Engineer - Robotics & Automation (1 Intermediate and 1 Senior Role Available)

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite)

Compensation: $100K – $165K USD

Status: Permanent, Full Time

We’re working with a respected manufacturer of advanced robotic systems for the biotech industry. They are seeking a senior-level engineer to develop software that controls robotic equipment—think sensors, motion control, and real-world automation. This is a hands-on role with a clear path to leadership.

What You'll Do

• Develop software to control robotics and automated systems
• Own projects from design through implementation, focusing on machine control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on robotic equipment development
• Improve system performance and reliability
• Contribute to system architecture decisions as the product line evolves

Requirements

• 5–30 years of experience in software development for robotics, automation, or machine control
• Strong object-oriented programming (Java, C++, etc.)
• Experience controlling real-world systems (robotics, sensors, automation)
• Collaborative mindset; no “lone wolves”
• US Citizen or Green Card (no sponsorship available)
