Position: Quantitative Software Engineer – Research & Trading Systems
Location: New York City, NY (Onsite, 5 days/week – non-negotiable)

Salary: Approx. $400,000 – $1,000,000+ total compensation
Overview:
We’re hiring elite software engineers to join quantitative research organizations building the core platforms behind live trading and research systems. These teams sit directly inside research groups, designing and developing the software that enables data access, modeling, simulation, and production trading.
This is not a finance-theory role. Engineers focus on building high-performance, production-grade systems that power researchers and traders in fast-moving, technically demanding environments.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼:
▪️ Build software platforms supporting quantitative research and trading
▪️ Develop systems for data ingestion, modeling, backtesting, and simulation
▪️ Partner closely with researchers to productionize models and workflows
▪️ Engineer reliable, high-performance systems used in live environments
▪️ Improve tooling, frameworks, and developer platforms used by research teams
▪️ Own services and platforms end-to-end in production
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:
▪️ Strong professional software engineering background
▪️ Experience building large-scale production systems
▪️ Proficiency in Python (and/or C++ or Java)
▪️ Strong computer science fundamentals
▪️ Stable career history and comfort working onsite in NYC
