Our Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance client is a growing company focused on serving homeowners in catastrophe-prone regions and expanding nationally through a dynamic product and partnership strategy. As they enter a phase of rapid growth, they are seeking a Product Analyst to join their Product & Pricing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to rate development, program performance analysis, and market research in a startup-like, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze internal and external data to support product development, pricing strategies, and profitability goals for personal property insurance.
- Conduct competitive market research and performance monitoring, with a focus on automation and report generation.
- Assist with rate filings and regulatory support, including development of exhibits and responses to state insurance departments.
Qualifications
- At least of two (2) years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance in an actuarial, insurance product (state management or P&L management) or data analyst / business analyst role
- Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and report development and or dashboard creation.
- Demonstrated curiosity and strong analytical skills with a desire to grow in a startup-like environment.
You will really impress our client if:
- You have completed at least two CAS (Casualty Actuarial Society) exams
- Exposure to working with Personal Lines Homeowners Insurance products
- Work experience in an Insurance/Insurtech Startup or MGA environment
