Our client, an innovative and rapidly scaling venture-backed startup, is at the forefront of creating insurance solutions for emerging risks associated with artificial intelligence. This role offers the unique opportunity to develop groundbreaking products in a dynamic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment. The Lead Underwriter will play a pivotal role in defining underwriting strategies, building broker relationships, and contributing to the development of an entirely new category of risk coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage policy applications in alignment with underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with broker partners to drive business growth and market expansion.
• Innovate and adapt underwriting practices to accommodate emerging AI-related risks, contributing to the development of scalable insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting commercial E&O or cyber insurance, with a strong understanding of liability risks.
• Proven ability to analyze complex risks, develop pricing strategies, and build strong broker relationships.
• Knowledge of AI, data science, or technology sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
