They are building innovative insurance products that help enterprises detect, mitigate, and transfer AI-related risks. Backed by leading reinsurers and operating in a high-growth environment, they are seeking a senior underwriting leader to shape this emerging category. This role balances hands-on underwriting with strategic leadership. The right candidate will credibly represent the company to capacity providers, brokers, and clients while also underwriting complex accounts, supporting broker enablement, and contributing to product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting function for AI-specific liability products, ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines, regulations, and capacity provider expectations.
• Represent the organization credibly with brokers, clients, and reinsurers, driving market adoption of AI risk coverage.
• Manage broker enablement and collaborate with internal teams on product development initiatives, including expanding appetite, exploring bundled solutions, and addressing silent AI risks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Tech E&O, cyber, or professional liability underwriting.
• Proven ability to lead broker relationships, manage capacity partnerships, and underwrite large, complex accounts.
• Background in MGA or brokerage environments strongly preferred; carrier experience valuable.
