Product Manager – Personal Lines Insurance

Our Personal Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Company Client is seeking a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join their lean and collaborative team. This role holds significant responsibility for driving product strategy and performance across personal lines, including auto, home, renters, and specialty lines. The right candidate will make a meaningful impact by owning the P&L, leading pricing and regulatory filings, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize product performance. Responsibilities

  • Own the profit and loss accountability for a personal lines product (auto, home, or specialty), including pricing strategy, rate filings, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, actuarial, claims, and marketing to implement product changes and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Drive long-term product planning, balancing market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management within personal lines P&C insurance, with demonstrated P&L responsibility. Senior Product Managers will need at least 7 years of experience to be considered for Senior Role.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, coverage language, underwriting strategy, and regulatory filings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and exposure to insurance analytics and data visualization tools; SQL or data fluency is a plus.
