Vice President, Sales

Our client is seeking a Vice President of Sales to build and lead its revenue function for a risk intelligence platform focused on predictive risk and liability mitigation across the U.S. Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance market. This is a foundational, hands-on role for a sales leader who will personally originate and close enterprise business in the near term while defining and scaling the company’s go-to-market strategy over time.


Responsibilities

  • Personally lead enterprise sales efforts in the U.S. Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance market, building pipeline, managing complex consultative sales cycles, and closing new business with senior stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial, product, portfolio management, claims, and legal within carriers, MGAs, and reinsurers.
  • Own and drive revenue generation, with full accountability for pipeline development, deal progression, and closed business.
  • Define and evolve go-to-market strategy, including ideal customer profile, segmentation, messaging, pricing, and sales process.



Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong focus on selling SaaS, data, analytics, or insurtech solutions into the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance market.
  • Demonstrated success closing large, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and credibility with insurance decision-makers across underwriting, claims, actuarial, risk, or executive leadership.
  • Experience building or scaling a sales organization in a growth-stage environment, along with the flexibility, ownership, and judgment to operate effectively with limited infrastructure and high ambiguity.
