Location: North Carolina

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule:

Monday – Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM

Friday: Currently off (schedule may expand in the future)

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $50.00 – $52.00/hour
  • Estimated Weekly Hours: Approximately 35–36 hours
  • Annualized Compensation: Approximately $91,000 – $97,300/year

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join a modern, well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment focused on preventive dentistry, patient education, and long-term oral health outcomes.

You will work alongside a supportive clinical team in a practice that values efficiency, strong documentation, and a high standard of care. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist with at least one year of experience who is looking to grow clinically and professionally within a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on education and trust-building
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, including removal of deposits and stains
  • Conduct periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and comprehensive assessments
  • Take and process dental radiographs
  • Apply fluoride and other preventive agents
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and long-term dental health
  • Accurately document clinical findings, medical histories, and treatment provided
  • Maintain operatory cleanliness, infection control standards, and emergency readiness
  • Support overall practice success through collaboration with the clinical team
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical hygiene experience required
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene procedures, patient screening, and clinical documentation
  • Ability to recommend preventive care solutions and hygiene products
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
