Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Office Manager to join a high-volume, multi-provider privately owned dental practice in Bethesda, Maryland. This leadership role is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while driving operational efficiency and growth.
The Office Manager will play a key role in overseeing front office operations, supporting clinical workflows, improving case acceptance, and maintaining a positive and accountable team culture.
This position offers strong earning potential, leadership responsibility, and long-term growth within a non-DSO practice environment.
Schedule:
- 5 day work week required.
- Practice hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Two weekend days per month required.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $80,000 per year.
- Performance bonus opportunity with total earnings potential exceeding $100,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily scheduling systems to maximize provider productivity.
- Monitor production, collections, and patient flow.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement operational improvements.
- Coordinate insurance documentation and claim submission processes.
Insurance & Treatment Coordination:
- Verify PPO insurance benefits and prepare treatment estimates.
- Track pre-authorizations and insurance appeals.
- Understand dental procedure codes and required supporting documentation.
- Support clinical team with administrative radiograph and case workflow review.
Leadership & Culture:
- Lead front desk team with professionalism and accountability.
- Maintain strong communication between doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
- Address performance issues appropriately and support staff development.
- Foster a positive and motivated office culture.
Patient Experience:
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently.
- De-escalate patient concerns professionally.
- Support case acceptance through patient education and financial clarity.
Growth Support:
- Participate in internal marketing and patient retention initiatives.
- Provide ideas to improve efficiency and overall practice performance.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years dental office leadership or management experience required.
- Conversational or fluent Spanish required.
- Strong knowledge of PPO insurance workflows.
- Experience presenting treatment plans to patients.
- Familiarity with dental procedure coding and insurance documentation.
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
