Dental Assistant (DA)

Location: Guilford

Salary Range: $23–$26 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:30am–4:30pm
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am–6:30pm
• Flexible to an 8:00am start time if needed

Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their established practice in Guilford, CT. This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of experience, though the practice is open to training a newer DA who is eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
• Prepare and break down operatories
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols
• Take dental radiographs
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout appointments
• Support overall clinical efficiency and team collaboration

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred (open to newer DAs)
• RHS (Radiation Health & Safety) certification required
• ICE (Infection Control Exam) certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
